Gallery – Pics from Our Friends

We have so many great pics from our friends at PetUtopia!  I have never had one single location that I could use to post all of them, so I am thrilled to finally be able to do that here!

The first picture is one I recently received of a Memorial Garden planted in honor of Glen and Barbara’s 5  Goldens who have crossed over the Bridge.  They found the statue at PetUtopia, and placed  it in their newly designed garden.  Barbara and Glen are friends from way back when I volunteered for Golden Bond Rescue (http://www.goldenbondrescue.com/).  They are so dedicated to their Goldens!

Barbara wrote “I can’t get over how beautiful the statue is.  Every detail is done so well.  I love the angel gathering her animals, and the inscription on the bottom.  Wow!  Whoever thought that when you ordered that statue it would find a home in our garden.  It just makes my heart sing!  What a wonderful tribute to our Goldens who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge and exited our lives, but not our hearts, and to the two who still fill our lives with love.  A spiritual moment indeed!”

August 5: Here’s a couple of updated pictures of the memory garden in full bloom, and with a memory stone for each of the Goldens that passed over the Bridge.

This is Minnie.  She looks just like Mr. Big, and she’s the first Yorkie-Poo we have ever seen who looks like him!  Most Yorkie-Poos look more like Yorkies, than the Poodles.  Anyway, Minnie got right in there to help with the painting chores!  She’s not afraid of work!

Oops! Got a touch of paint on my face, Mom!

And, I remember her Mom, Luanne, struggled with the color of the stroller she wanted to buy.  She wanted the pink stroller so badly, but was worried that her husband wouldn’t push Minnie in a pink stroller.  Well, he’s a manly man, and doesn’t worry about such things!  Here he is, at their winter home in Arizona, walking Minnie in her pink stroller, and wearing a pink tee!

Karen sent in this picture of her new Westie baby, Kandi!  Kandi is in the bathtub – what a great idea for a playpen, Karen!!

Kandi says: I love it when my Mommy takes me to shop at PetUtopia. I love the deer antlers! Mommy says they keep me busy and out of trouble.

Tovah and Clark sent these pictures of Remmy wearing his new backpack.  Tovah bought this pack while visiting her family (and us) in January.

She writes: “Remmy is so cute trotting along in his backpack. Now he carries his treats and dog waste bags. I’ll slowly introduce more weight so that
he gets more of a workout on our walks.”

Here’s a picture of Rob, one of our favorite customers!  He is in the process of having his arm tattooed with portraits of Elsa and Dusty, his pups!  This is just the outline, which took the artist 4 hours to do!  We’ll get an update when he goes back to have the color filled in!  I LOVE this tattoo!

Sherri sent us the pictures below – she has some pretty patient kitties!  She’s working on a group of photos for a calendar. She comes in and buys cute hats, the Furcedes bed, and other items to use as props for the calendar. It’s slow going, trying to get all these kitties to cooperate!

This is a photo I got in 2006, of Meca, and American Eskimo, before she crossed over the bridge.  Her Mom, Lynn, said she loved her stroller.

Here’s Kandi Kane, ready for her big trip to Palm Desert. She and her family joined Minnie’s family for a vacation in the sun!  Kandi’s taking her Tutto carrier, so she doesn’t get too tired while shopping in all those great Flea Markets!

Okay, Mom, I’m all packed and ready to go!

I’m waiting! Let’s Go!

I saw Ruben’s Mom, Rosie, looking at the doggie clothes one day. Now, Rosie is not a ‘dress your dog up’ kind of woman, so I figured she must need help selecting a gift for a friend. No, Rosie was looking for a tee for Ruben, one of her dogs!  Ruben had to get a haircut, and was cold!  So, we found the perfect shirt to keep him warm while his coat grows out.

Ruben after his haircut!

I thought this tee would be too small for him, but it fit just right!
BTW: he’s eating a treat, not making a political comment about the tee!

One of our friends, Joanne, participated in the  Tigard 4th of July parade with her 2 dogs, Fin, and Junior!

Junior and Fin are ready to party!

The parade winds around a neighborhood.

Junior has the best of all worlds that day!  He’s riding  comfortably, and enjoying his adoring crowds!

Fin is dressed for the occasion!
